October 21, 2016
The Falcons came out on top against Liberty Union with a score of 17-8.  After giving up a touchdown in the first quarter the Falcons defense held strong for the remainder of the game not giving up another point to the Lions.  The Falcons rushed for 108 yard and threw for 108 yards.  Nick Bishop read the Falcons in rushing with 72 yards and a touchdown.  Bishop also threw a touchdown in the first quarter to get the scoring started with a 25 yard pass to Brad Wolfe.  Colin Woodside came in early in the 4th quarter and kicked a field goal that gave the Falcons the two score lead that they would have for the rest of the game.  The Falcons will play Bloom Carroll next Friday for their season finale.

September 23, 2016
Fairfield Union comes out on top in a hard fought win against Circleville winning 20-19.  Fairfield Union was down 19-7 going in to the fourth quarter and scored 13 points in the quarter to push them ahead.  Jared Porter lead the Falcons rushing for 55 yards and Brad Wolfe was right behind him with 31 yards and two touchdowns.  Zach Shinn threw for 158 yards and also ran for a touchdown late in the game.  The Falcons will face Amanda-Clearcreek next week in a huge league game.

September 9, 2016
Fairfield Union came out on top in a hard fought game against Vinton County 31-21.  The Falcons ran for a season high 425 yards.  Jared Porter lead the way rushing for 161 yards and one touchdown, followed by Tylor Wolfe with 142 and two touchdowns and Brad Wolfe with 123 and one touchdown.  Camden Mollendick lead the way for the Falcons in passing with two receptions.  Fairfield Union’s defense came away with two interceptions and a forced fumble.  Vinton County’s leading rusher was Nevin Yates running for 68 yards on the night.  Next week Fairfield Union opens up the league play going on the road to Logan Elm.

September 2, 2016
Fairfield Union was defeated by Johnstown by a score of 38-7.  Braden Hesten lead the way for the Falcons rushing for 68 yard and scoring the only touchdown for the night.  Johnstown's leading rusher was Justin Franklin rushing for 174 yards and scoring 3 touchdowns.  The Falcons will take on Vinton County next Friday night.

August 26, 2016
The Falcons opened up their 2016 season with a win at home against New Lex Friday night with a score of 10-6.  Fairfield Union rushed for 182 yards with Jared Porter leading the way with 77 of those yards.  Zach Shinn started the scoring with a 1 yard touchdown early in the second quarter.  Will Young added a field goal at the beginning of the fourth quarter.  New Lex would drive down late in the fourth quarter capping the drive off with a touchdown by Bradley Clapper, but would have their last drive stalled by an interception by Braden Hesten, the second interception for the Falcons defense on the night.
