2017-2018 CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS

October 14, 2017
On Saturday, the RMS Falcons competed at the MSL Championships where the boys placed 3 runners in the top 4 to position the team for a runner up finish on the day. Drew Hurst (2nd), Ronnie Rowley (3rd), Mason Taylor (3rd, PR), were followed closely by Skyler Dechellis (13th), Josh Bell (20th), and Joey Bell (36th).

Taylor Rife placed 5th pacing the Lady Falcons to a 3rd place finish in a closely contested meet. Carly Hanks finished 13th, followed by  Alexis Cymanski 16th, Hannah Lecrone (20th), Katelin Graham (25th), and Sarah Eyman (35th).

All 12 runners are to be commended for their effort and dedication to the team this year.


October 7, 2017

RMS Boys and Girls XC Teams both finished 5th out of 20 teams at the Unioto Invitational on a very challenging course. Pushing the pace for the boys was Drew Hurst (7th) who edged Ronnie Rowley (8th) by less than half of a second. Completing the scoring for the Falcons were Mason Taylor (26th), Skyler Dechellis (47th), Josh Bell (104th), and Joey Bell (164th).

Taylor Rife ran a personal best time on route to leading the girls by way of a 21st place finish. Alexis Cymanski finished (48th), followed by Carly Hanks (50th), Hannah Lecrone (70th), Katelin Graham (73rd) and Sarah Eyman (110th).

The Falcons will end their season on 10/14 at L.U. for the MSL Championships.

Congratulations to the men's Cross country team for finishing 4th out of 23 all division teams. The top 5 were Nae Rennie, Logan Gaib, Trent Smith, Jax Kovatch and Brock Wagner.

Congratulations to the Women's cross country team for finishing 7th out of 23 all division teams. The top 5 were Kaylee Miller, Morgan Runkle, Kali Dennison, Ashley Miller and  Elise Conrad.

MS - On Weds., the Falcons XC team competed in the Backwoods 2 Miler. Drew Hurst led the boys to a 5th place finish out of 20 teams followed by Ronnie Rowley, Mason Taylor, Skyler Dechellis, Josh Bell, and Joey Bell.

The Ladies finished 15th with Taylor Rife out in front followed by Carly Hanks, Alexis Cymanski, Katelin Graham, and Sarah Eyman.

We race again on Sat. at the Unioto Invitational

Congratulations to the women's cross country team for winning the 19 team Pickerington North Invitational by 62 points.
The top 5 were Heather Lecrone, Mackenzie Davis, Madison Eyman, Isabelle Hoover and Morgan Ruff.

Congratulations to the men's Cross country team for placing 10th out of 26 teams. The top 5 were Nae Rennie, Ben Johns, Logan Gaib, Trent Smith and Brock Wagner.

On Saturday, the Boys and Girls XC teams set many Personal Bests, Negative Splits, and Even splits on their way to respectable finishes at the Panther Invitational at Pickerington. Leading the way for the Boys was Drew Hurst (18th), Mason Taylor (47th), Skyler Dechellis (81st), Josh Bell (137th) and Joey Bell (165th). The girls were paced by Taylor Rife (82nd), Carly Hanks (97th), Alexis Cymanski (98th), Hannah Lecrone (136th), Katelin Graham (138th), and Sarah Eyman (159th).

Both teams will compete on Weds. at the Backwoods 2 Miler and then again on Saturday at the Unioto Invitational before the MSL Meet on 10/14.

On Saturday Sept. 23, The RMS XC Team took home the 3rd place trophy at the Bob Reall Invitational in Lancaster paced by 5th place overall finisher Drew Hurst. Rounding out the scoring for the Falcons were Ronnie Rowley (10th), Mason Taylor (19th), Skyler Dechellis (36th), Josh Bell (67th), and Joey Bell (114th)

The RMS Lady Falcons were led to an 11th place finish by Carly Hanks (27th), Alexis Cymanski (44th), Taylor Rife (54th), Hannah Lecrone (63rd), Katelin Graham (71st), and Sarah Eyman (89th) out of 132 runners.

On Saturday Sept 30, both teams travel to Pickerington to compete in the Panther Invitational.

Congratulations to the Women's cross country team for winning both the Team race and open race this past weekend. The top 5 girls were Heather Lecrone, Isabelle Hoover, Mackenzie Davis, Madison Eyman and Dorothy King.

Congratulations to the men's Cross country team for taking 6th out of 20. The top 5 were Nae Rennie, Trent Smith, Ben John's, Logan Gaib and Brock Wagner.

Congratulations to the women's cross country team who took 1st place against 22 teams at Galion.  The top 5 were Isabelle Hoover, Madison Eyman, Morgan Ruff, Monica Taylor and Kaylee Miller

The men's team also had a good performance competing against 27 teams. The top 5 were Nae Rennie, Logan Gaib, Trent Smith, Brock Wagner and Ben John's.

MS CC - Central Ohio Cross Country Invitational Announcements
In a field composed mostly of D1 schools, the RMS Boys XC team finished 5th out of 18 teams and the Girls finished 11th out of 17 teams.

The Boys were paced by Drew Hurst (12th), Ronnie Rowley (21st), Mason Taylor (25th), Skyler Dechellis (53rd), Josh Bell (96th), Joey Bell (169th) out of 232 runners.

The Girls team was led by Taylor Rife (39th), Carly Hanks (46th), Alexis Cymanski (56th), Katelin Graham (84th), Hannah Lecrone (103rd), and Sarah Eyman (122nd) out of 193 runners.

The teams will compete on Sat. 9/23 at Lancaster High School in the Bob Reall Invitational

On Weds., both RMS Cross Country Teams finished runners up at the Nelsonville Invitational. The Girls were led by Taylor Rife (9th), Carly Hanks (11th), Alexis Cymanski (15th), Hannah Lecrone (22nd), & Katelin Graham (23rd).

On the Boys side, the team was led by overall meet winner Drew Hurst followed by Ronnie Rowley (3rd), Mason Taylor (10th), Skyler Dechellis (16th), Josh Bell (57th), & Joey Bell (89th)

Both teams are in action again on Sat. at the Central Ohio Cross Country Invitational

The Lady Falcons Cross country team won the 24 team Watkins invitational today by 61 points. The top 5 were  Heather Lecrone, Isabelle Hoover, Madison Eyman, Morgan Ruff, Dorothy King.

The Falcon mens cross country team was 12th out of 28 teams.

The top 5 were Nae Rennie, Ben John's, Trent Smith, Jax Kovatch and Brock Wagner

Congratulations to the Women's cross country team for Winning the 9 team Falcon invitational with a perfect score of 15 points. That's the lowest score possible. The top 5 for the Falcons were Heather Lecrone, Madison Eyman, Isabelle Hoover, Dorothy King and Morgan Ruff.

Congratulations to the men's team for also winning the Falcon invitational by 23 points. The top 5 men were Jax Kovatch, Ben Johns, Logan Gaib, Trent Smith and Brock Wagner.

Great Job to the cross country programs this weekend.
Lady Falcons were 1st out of 20 teams. They were led by Heather Lecrone, Isabelle Hoover, Morgan Ruff, Dorothy King and Monica Taylor.

The Men's team was 2nd out of 19 teams. They were led by Nae Rennie, Logan Gaib, Jeffery Kovatch, Trent Smith and Ben Johns.

The Fairfield Union Women's cross country team won the Canal Winchester invitational by 49 points. 16 teams were in the competition. They were led by Heather Lecrone who took 2nd place overall.

The Fairfield Union Men's cross country team was 6th place out of 21 teams.

They were led by Logan Gaib who was 24th overall.

On Wednesday the RMS Falcons XC competed at the Canal Winchester Invitational. The boys brought home a 7th place finish out of 17 teams comprised mostly of large division 1 teams. Leading the way was Drew Hurst (6th, PR) followed by Ronnie Rawley (12th), Skyler Dechellis (54th), Mason Taylor (68th), Josh Bell (127th), and Joey Bell (178th) out of 228 runners.

Alexis Cymanski lead the girls team to a 10th place finish out of 18 teams with a finish of 38th out of 227 runners. Rounding out the scoring was Carly Hanks (44), Taylor Rife (54), Hannah Lecrone (71), Katelin Graham (106), and Sarah Eyman (153).

Both teams are in action again on Saturday when they compete in the Circleville Kiwanis Invitational and then again on Tuesday for our only home meet, The Falcon Invitational.

Congratulations to the Lady Falcons Cross Country team for winning an 18 team invitational by 62 points this past weekend. They were led by Heather Lecrone and Isabelle Hoover who finished 1st and 5th overall.

Congratulations to the men's Cross country team for placing 8th out of 22 teams. They were led by Jax Kovatch and Ben Johns placing 38th and 44th overall.
Rushville Middle: On Saturday, the Cross Country teams started their seasons at the Newark Catholic Invitational with solid performances from all who participated. Drew Hurst led the boys with a second place finish out of 126 runners who represented 14 teams. Mason Taylor finished 19th, Skyler Dechellis 33rd, Josh Bell 57th, and Joey Bell 100th.

Carley Hanks paced the girls with a solid 21st place run followed by Alexis Cymanski 40th, Taylor Rife 54th , Hannah Lecrone 56th, Katelin Graham 70th and Sarah Eyman 74th. There were 112 runners in the girls 14 team race.

Both teams will be in action again on Wednesday at the Canal Winchester Invitational.

Congratulations to the Lady Falcons Cross County team for winning a 13 team invitational by 37 points. The lady Falcons were led by Heather Lecrone and Isabelle Hoover placing 3rd and 6th place overall.

Congratulations to the men's Cross country team for placing 7th out of 14. The men were led by Logan Gaib and Jax Kovatch placing 10th and 16th place overall.
